Asian Culture Transfer (ACT)

In a complex environment for relations between Europe and Asia, the Asian Culture Transfer (ACT) aims to cultivate mutual respect as well as fertile dialogue between Asian and Swiss Students. ACT, in its core concept, gives twenty students of each of the two participating universities the possibility to spend ten days in each of the two respective countries exploring and discovering their economic, political, ecological and cultural peculiarities and differences. The program includes sightseeing, company visits and university lectures as well as other cultural activities that are typical for the respective country. In this way, participants do not only develop a fundamental understanding of the structure and culture of both countries but can also learn from each other and establish long-lasting friendships.
