International Week
International Weeks (IW) take place at 20 universities all around Europe and Asia. The University of St. Gallen is one of them. All IWs are based on the same core concept: during one week organized by a local students´ committee, a group of guest students – up to two from each other participating university – explore the host country. Every IW contains manifold opportunities for exchange of information and ideas as each delegation presents its country and university. There are tours to local companies which represent local industries and economic growth engines as well as cultural activities which show the respective country from its best side. Equally important, the social structure of this week creates friendships and social networks, which inspires future cooperation between different people from different countries. The customary International Dinner in which each delegation makes traditional dishes accompanied by its own stories, drinks and cultural merits, is one such example.

The Swiss International Week
We will invite about 20 students from foreign partner universities (usually one or two from each university) for an unforgettable week in Switzerland. The week will be organized and accompanied by our IW team, which consists of four students of the University of St. Gallen (HSG). The aim of the International Week Switzerland is to show the participants our beloved Switzerland and to introduce them to the economic, political, ecological and cultural peculiarities. We will travel around to cities like Berne, Lucerne, Zurich, and St. Gallen and enjoy activities including company visits, workshops, city tours and other cultural events.
