Apply for an Exchange Tour or International Week

Project Leader
Highlights

Role Description
As a project leader you are in charge of everything from picking the tour destination to finding a suitable partner university to making sure the project runs smoothly and successfully. You will head the organizing committee of the tour and coordinate the team's efforts towards a common goal. It is a great opportunity to gain leadership experience and improve your event management skills.
Requirements
You should bring a strong interest for other cultures and some leadership experience. Previous experience as participant or team member of a tour is beneficial but not required.

Team Member

Role Description
As a team member you will be in charge of either finances and sponsoring, marketing and participant communication, or the organization of the program for the Swiss part of the exchange. You will work in a team of four motivated students and not only gain experience in your own functional role but also improve your leadership and event management skills.
Requirements
You should bring a strong interest for other cultures and be prepared to commit some hours every week to the project.

Participant Exchange Tour
Highlights

Role Description
As a participant you can join one of the tours without the hassle and time commitment that comes with being a member of the organizing team. Participating in one of the tours is a great opportunity to broaden your horizons and to experience a country at an affordable price and from a very different angle than you would by traveling on your own.
Requirements
You should bring a keen interest for other cultures and the willingness to adapt to the living conditions in the partner country. While you do not have any organizational responsibilities, you should be aware that as a participant you will represent the HSG and should behave accordingly and that it is imperative to join both the tour abroad and the Swiss trip (where you should host a participant from the partner university).
Participant International Week

  • gain insights into the political, economic and cultural system of the partner country
  • make many new friends from all around the world
  • Only pay your travel expenses - the program itself is free of charge
Role Description
As a participant in an international week you will experience the partner country together with around 20 other international students. The one week program usually includes company visits, political topics, sightseeing and cultural events.
Requirements
You should bring a keen interest for other cultures and the willingness to adapt to the living conditions in the partner country. While you do not have any organizational responsibilities, you should be aware that as a participant you will represent the HSG and should behave accordingly. Some IWs may have other more specific requirements for participation.
