The EuroTour promotes – in the spirit of European integration – intercultural understanding and seeks to foster friendship between students of the University of St.Gallen and other universities in and around Europe. Throughout the two weeks of exchange, the forty participants get a unique insight into the hosting country by participating in workshops, company and government visits, as well as sightseeing and cultural events. Through these activities, the students do not only gain insight into different economic issues but also explore the way of living and working together in another country.

EuroTour was established in 1994 with the aim to provide an understanding of the different cultures in the context of Europe during the process of integration. Past exchanges have been situated all over Europe; this year’s exchange will take us to yet another interesting destination within Europe: Stockholm, Sweden.

The Project

The recruiting for EuroTour participants will take place in November 2017!

Next Destination

The EuroTour 2018 will take place in Stockholm, Sweden! The RI is proud to have secured a partnership with the Stockholm School of Economics. The exact dates for the EuroTour 2018 will be announced in due course.

The program includes lectures, workshops, city tours and company visits in both countries. In the last years, activities in Switzerland included visits to the parliament building, local watch and chocolate factories, as well as visiting companies like Hilti AG or Homburger.

Duration & Costs

The project involves a one week program in Switzerland as well as one week in Sweden. The price for EuroTour 2017 was CHF 750.- and included everything in both countries (e.g. the flight, the accomodation, the food, all entry fees, the transport etc.).
